SilviaTerra is growing and our team has just expanded with two additional members  - Cheryl Sansonetti and Alex Macintosh!

Alex Macintosh is our Natural Capital Exchange (NCAPX) Landowner Platform Manager. Alex manages strategy and execution of initiatives that engage landowners in the NCAPX program. He is focused on ensuring an excellent experience for landowners including facilitating communications, helping steer platform enhancements, and managing customer support. He is helping SilviaTerra build scalable capabilities and processes to bring the NCAPX opportunity to landowners across the US, North America, and eventually the globe. If you are a landowner interested in selling forest carbon, contact Alex at

Alex is a graduate of Harvard University and most recently was a product manager at Farmers Business Network, helping grow and engage a network of farmers in North America and Australia to work together and make better decisions based on real-life agronomic data. Prior to that, Alex worked as a product manager at Strava, helping build tools and experiences to connect a global community of athletes.

Alex lives in San Francisco, but he is a passionate Canadian at heart. In the summer he lives for trail running and mountain biking, and in the winter lives to ski. He is happiest when in motion outdoors, especially with friends!

Cheryl Sansonetti is our Director of Marketing. We're excited to build out a marketing practice to help better share our message with the world. We have big ambitions to help every organization and landowner be part of the climate solution and we can't do that if they don't know about us. In this role, Cheryl will ensure our press relations, events, brand and communications deliver the best experience possible for our audience.

Prior to joining SilviaTerra, Cheryl was a marketing leader at Merkle, led marketing for a start-up in the emerging mobile marketing space, and even enjoyed some creative pursuits in the animation industry working for Director Robert Zemeckis. And who doesn't love a Back to the Future reference?!

Cheryl is a graduate of University of San Francisco's Business School. At the moment Cheryl resides in Southern California near the Cleveland National Forest. But she isn't one to rest so who knows where she'll move next. As long as it is near great hiking, water, and promises adventures, she is in.
