Members of our biometrics team spent the beginning of this week in Blacksburg, Virginia at an amazing joint meeting of the Southern and Northeastern Mensurationists organizations, as well as IUFRO 4.01 (Forest Mensuration and Modelling).

There were three days of presentations and excellent discussions with our professional colleagues from around the world. Lead Biometrician Nan Pond gave a presentation on our current approaches to estimating precision for unvisited stands in our CruiseBoost system.

These meetings are always a great time to connect with friends and colleagues, and learn about research being conducted in academic circles and other organizations. Definitely a successful week!
